I've just published my own retelling of Cupid and Psyche on Wattpad. It's pretty faithful to the original, with a few embellishments here and there. I wrote this version for a romance novel, so I tailored this version to fit the novel's themes and motifs.

I hope you enjoy reading it. It was surprisingly enjoyable to write. I'd like to write more romantic retellings of myths and fairy tales, because I had so much fun with this one.

It's also amazing how much the story of Cupid and Psyche influenced later fairy tales, particularly Beauty and the Beast. I recognized a lot of influences from both stories when I read A Court of Thorns and Roses last week. What can I say, great stories last for a reason.
